Stone Crazy
Kevin Burt's latest musical offering, "Stone Crazy," emerged onto the scene on October 16, 2020, courtesy of Gulf Coast Records. This album, the predecessor to his upcoming releases, was expertly produced by the talented musician and producer Mike Zito. The recording sessions took place at Marz Studios in Nederland, TX, capturing the essence of Kevin's musical prowess.
"Stone Crazy," Kevin's inaugural album under the Gulf Coast Records label, boasts a collection of ten captivating songs, all penned by Burt himself, with the exception of the soulful Bill Withers track, "Better Off Dead." Burt views songwriting as a personal journey, a vessel through which he shares stories derived from his life's observations. The album serves as a melodic canvas, illustrating Kevin's reflections and encounters, molding his perspectives on love and relationships. Notably, Kevin's muse and primary influencer, his wife Nicole, inspire many of the album's tracks, offering listeners a profound glimpse into Burt's journey.
